Wood Window Repairs and Maintenance Workshop 🪟 (Part 2)

August 8, 2023 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Free
Wood Window Repairs

Properly maintained wood windows can last well over 100 years! Modern vinyl replacement windows only last 20-25 years. And when paired with a storm window, those old wood windows can be just as efficient as replacement windows! Wood windows require special care and maintenance to work smoothly and efficiently, but you can maintain them yourself! Join us for a special 2 part hands-on DIY workshop to learn how to correct common wood window issues to help your windows last for many more years! On July 25 we learned how to take our windows apart to repaint, weatherize, and replace sash cords and pulleys. Watch Part 1 here!

On Aug 8, we will learn how to replace broken glass, reglaze, and make other common repairs.

Everyone is welcome. Bring a friend or meet new friends at the workshop. There is no charge for this workshop, but registration is encouraged to ensure we have enough seating and materials available. Our workshops are also broadcast live online on youtube icon download 16x16 - curved YouTube and Facebook icon download 16x16 - curved Facebook.
