Each September we gather for a special annual event to honor the legacy of our organization’s co-founders and celebrate the impact of our mission on the community. This celebratory event connects stakeholders, local leaders, organization staff, and community members to learn more about our programming outcomes, gain valuable insight on the impact of homeownership, and recognize the exceptional individuals who have made outstanding contributions in the housing sector.
Our annual faith-based roundtable brings together members of the local faith-based community to explore the impact of sustainable home ownership strategies. This meaningful gathering of faith leaders, outreach coordinators, congregation members, and community advocates provides a vital space for collaboration, learning, and action and includes a keynote presentation, panel discussions, and resource tables hosted by local housing organizations and resource groups.
These quarterly presentations offer an opportunity for attendees to learn more about our mission and core programs and tour our facility. These sessions bring together local changemakers, community leaders, neighbors, funding partners, and community advocates to gain a deeper understanding of local housing issues and solutions and mobilize support. This is the perfect opportunity to learn, engage, ask questions, and be inspired.
Held each December in downtown Kalamazoo, this festive event invites the community to explore local retail spaces featuring imaginative gingerbread house creations by area businesses, organizations, and individuals. Entries are evaluated by a panel of judges across multiple categories, adding a fun and spirited element to this seasonal celebration.
