Be SMART: Gun Safety at Home

Do you or someone you know have a gun in the home? Are there also children in that home? Do you know if the houses that your kids visit have guns? Please join us for a presentation on home gun safety with BeSMART for Kids.

Per BeSMART, “Firearms are now the leading cause of death among children in the United States. But these tragedies are preventable. The Be SMART campaign was launched in 2015 to promote responsible gun ownership in order to reduce the deaths, injuries and trauma that can result when a child or teen is able to access a gun. “

This free, in-person empowerment workshop is offered at our Education Center, 812 Bryant Street, Kalamazoo. Everyone is welcome.
