Wood Window Repairs

July 26, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Free
Wood Window Repairs Workshop

Did you know? Original wood windows in an older home can last well over 100 years with proper maintenance.  Replacement Windows often last 20-25 years before they need to be re-replaced.  A well maintained wood window paired with a storm window can provide the same insulating value as a new replacement window while maintaining the character of your home.  Join us to learn how to maintain these old windows to keep them functioning for many more years!

This free, hands-on workshop will take place in our air conditioned Community Homeworks Education Room, 812 Bryant Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49001.  Registration and masks are required. (You can register at the bottom of this page or by calling 269-998-3275 ext 205 and leaving a message.)

The workshop can also be viewed live on our Community Homeworks Facebook Live page or YouTube channel.

Community Homeworks is a non-profit home repair and maintenance organization located in Kalamazoo, Michigan with a mission to “Empower our low-income neighbors to maintain safe, sustainable, and dignified homes.”  Donate now to support our programs!
