Storm Window Repairs: Hands-on Workshop

November 15 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Free
Storm Window Repairs

An aluminum or wooden storm window, installed correctly over a single pane wood window can be just as efficient as a new replacement window and can last much longer!  Join instructor Julie Ryan as she walks us through common repairs with wood and aluminum storm windows. Bring a window along to the in-person workshop and Julie will give you free advice and guidance!

This FREE workshop will take place live at our Community Homeworks Education Center, 812 Bryant Street, Kalamazoo beginning at 6 pm on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. Questions from the audience are always encouraged! Donations are welcome.  (Register to attend at the bottom of this page or by calling 269-998-3275.)  This Green Living Series Weatherization workshop is made possible by a generous grant from the Kalamazoo Community Foundation’s Love where you Live: Environment Fund.

The workshop can also be viewed live on our Community Homeworks Facebook Live page or YouTube channel.  Please note: online workshops are not hands-on and are less interactive than in-person programs.

Community Homeworks is a non-profit home repair and maintenance organization located in Kalamazoo, Michigan with a mission to “Empower our low-income neighbors to maintain safe, sustainable, and dignified homes.”  Donate now to support our programs!
