Our homes have many different types of floors and flooring materials. Improperly installed or maintained floors are safety concerns due to slippery conditions, trip hazards, or actual holes. Learn what is under your floor, why your flooring might be having issues and how to correct those issues. Also learn what repairs you can do yourself and when it is time to call a contractor.
This free, in-person empowerment workshop is held at our Education Center, 812 Bryant Street, Kalamazoo. Everyone is welcome! Bring a friend or meet new friends at the workshop! Registration is encouraged to ensure we have enough seating and materials available. The workshop is also broadcast live online on
YouTube and
Facebook without the hands-on experience.
