Education & Volunteer Coordinator: We have an opening for a Education & Volunteer Coordinator, which is a part-time AmeriCorps service position. Full Description and Application Instructions HERE. This has a requirement to serve for a minimum of 900 hours in a one-year term. Upon successful completion of the service year, the member will be eligible for a $2,887.50 education award to pay off existing student loans or return to school. Service period will last from 3/1/2017 – 2/28/2018.
Responsibility: The member at Community Homeworks will support the homeowner repair and maintenance education program, one part of a comprehensive package of programs designed to help low-income families meet the challenges of affordably sustaining their homes. The goal of the program is to teach homeowners the importance of maintaining their homes and give them the skills to do so.
